Can we get the Alcaraz vs Sinner final? We also have the start of the NBA Finals later tonight. Action previewed here with our top bets across sports.
Even though the football season has come to a close there is still plenty of top sport going on for us to have a dabble on.
The French open is reaching the business end for both the Womens and Mens draws, and with the lack of real stars or quality in tennis currently there are only the stand out favourites to really look at here. First up Coco Gauff in her semi against the rank outsider who had never even beaten a top 50 player before the start of the tournament, but has seen off number 3 seed Pegula, and 6 seed Andreeva. This will be a bridge too far though, Gauff has always performed well at Roland Garros having reached a final previously, expect the dream run to end here for Boisson.
Next the Mens semi and in the first expect Alcaraz to come through against Musetti, there are really only 2 star players (3 including Djokovic though he is nearing the end of his career) currently competing at the top, Alcaraz being one and Sinner being the other. It’s pretty nailed on for both to advance to the final, Sinner will have too much for Djokovic tomorrow with his previous opponent going into the match already having booked his flights home, which says a lot how his rivals think of Sinner currently.
Next we go to the US for the MLB and the Detroit Tigers to beat the White Sox. The Tigers have been the top team so far across both conferences with the White Sox the second worst team, it’s 2-1 so far in the mini series and you can expect Detroit to continue their good season here.
Last is the first game of the NBA Finals, with OKC hosting the Pacers. This should be a fun watch and the Pacers will come to play but given the wins OKC have had at home so far (8-1 at home in the playoffs. They won those 8 games by 51, 19, 43, 7, 32, 36, 15 and 30) you’d expect them to start of the finals with a win to take them 1-0.
Gauff, Alcaraz, Sinner, Detroit Tigers, OKC to win 2/1
