It’s taken Amorim to come in to finally have the balls to make the decision most United fans and if he’s honest with himself Rashford have been wanting for over a year now. The time for him to move on was probably before the start of last season, however we are where we are.

You see some pundits saying look at the interest in him from big clubs, but clubs knowing they could probably get him at a cut price now still aren’t actually committing themselves. Offering a loan deal with half of his wage covered is hardly inspiring and as a Utd fan certainly doesn’t fill me with confidence that come the summer there will be suitors willing to take him especially on those high wages. A product of the previous regime dishing out big contracts like Oprah dishing out cars but still, if he had any winning mentality about him he would move on and look to prove the doubters wrong. Time will tell, but we aren’t holding out much hope.
